Office Administrator (Part-Time) - 3 Month Contract
This is a temporary contract for 3 months starting in November with a possibility of extension.Â
We are looking for an office administrator who will help set up and maintain our new office location in Toronto! You will be responsible for setting up, arranging, and maintaining our office space for Shakers to work, relax, and create in person bonds.Â
What you’ll be doingÂ
- Maintain a well-organized office inventory with necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring all areas throughout the office are well-stocked and well-maintained; managing purchases or repairs as necessary
- Supervise all areas pertaining to reception (mail, deliveries, shipments, guests) serving as main point of contact for building management and security, including service requests and all facility-related issues
- Organize in-person and virtual team lunches, team events and efforts that continue to move our strong culture forward (birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, lunches, meetings, social events, etc.)
- Address shaker queries regarding office management issues and suggestions
Who we’re looking forÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- 1+ year in a customer facing role
- You’re the type of person who brightens a room
- Hyper attention to detail and organizational skills in getting things done
- Strong understanding of Google Suite products (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc.)
- Ability to carry boxes or items up to 25 pounds
Bonus points
- Curiosity in the admin or human resources department to learn more
- Experience in school club leadership positions
