Your primary focus will be to build and engage developer communities, leading to increased adoption of our products and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align growth initiatives with our product and marketing efforts.Who You Are:
- You have significant experience in growth roles within developer-focused or edtech organizations, preferably in Seed, Series A, or Series B stages.
- Familiarity with the 0 to 1 journey of a startup, with a proven ability to experiment and scale growth initiatives.
- Previous experience as an individual contributor, capable of executing projects independently from scratch.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and optimize growth initiatives.
- Comfortable working in open-ended environments where creativity and innovation are encouraged.
- Build and scale existing offline developer communities, organizing events and conferences to drive engagement.
- Develop community strategy and programs from scratch, recruiting and managing a team to support community building efforts.
- Conduct experiments to discover effective growth channels for developer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align growth initiatives with product and marketing efforts.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure the success of growth initiatives, iterating based on data-driven insights.
- Manage a team to execute inbound and outbound marketing strategies targeted at developers.
- Own and drive marketing KPIs related to developer growth for the business.
- Proven experience in building technical/developer communities and organizing conferences, hackathons, or meetups.
- Background in scaling and managing offline developer communities.
- Ability to develop community strategy and programs from zero to one.
- Must have experience as an individual contributor.
- 5+ years in a developer relation role.
- Manage an expanding regional community of developers.
- Become head of developer relations.
- Transition into related marketing or product roles within the organization.
