As the largest wallet-label database provider in the space, Chainlabs has mapped over 15,000 on-chain entities, including crypto exchanges, darknet markets, criminal enterprises, scams, and public/private entities. Our clientele includes prominent analytics providers such as Chainalysis, Nansen, Crystal, and Coinbase, who use our labels for Know Your Transaction (KYT), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), trade signal analytics, law enforcement investigations, business intelligence, and academic research.
Our workforce comprises dedicated intelligence analysts, Subject Matter Experts, and a global network of OSINT analysts ("tracers"). Chainlabs continues to grow rapidly and plans to expand our market presence and product offerings further.
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Business Developer to accelerate our sales and forge partnerships within the blockchain analytics industry.
The role is :
- immediate start
- Initially part-time (5h-20h per week), potential for full-time role
- Works directly with the CEO
- Rewarded with Base, significant Equity and Commission
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads with analytics platforms, cybersecurity companies, financial institutions, blockchain startups, and data brokerage partners.
- Secure partnerships to distribute or barter wallet labels with trade-signal providers, AML consultants, web3 analytics companies, Darknet Data brokers, Law Enforcement, Investigations Agencies, Academia.
- Collaborate closely with our Intelligence Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to identify market needs, propose new data-driven solutions, and leverage our wallet-labelling capabilities.
- Support Chainlabsā CEO in by providing market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
- Depending on interest and ability, this role may also encompass : Account Management, Negotiation, Partnerships,
Requirements
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships specifically within the web3 / blockchain analytics ecosystem.
- An understanding of how web3 Companies such as VASPs and DApps use on-chain data analytics for KYT (Know Your Transaction), Investigations and Trade Intelligence.
- Hands-on experience using Pipedrive CRM for pipeline management, lead nurturing, and performance analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills; able to clearly articulate the value of Data Labels & Analytics to diverse audiences.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to close deals independently.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Technical understanding or previous experience with SQL, relational databases and web3 analytics tools (Dune, Google Bigquery, Chainalysis, Arkham, Breadcrumbs, Etherscan, Allium.so, Bitquery, etc)
- Content Marketing and Community Building Experience in a web3 context
- Existing network within crypto analytics, AML compliance, financial crime, OSINT darknet data providers, or web3 business intelligence.
- Entrepreneurial experience or demonstrated success in early-stage sales efforts at previous startups.
