You will be part of the evolution of financial services, by establishing the annual control plan and the broader Internal control function for a new legal entity, whose principal business is trading futures contracts.Ā
Responsibilities
- Support the board with their accountability for compliance with MiFID and MAR in implementation of the annual control plan, quality checks, monitoring of regulatory KPI/KRIs.
- Work closely with the Risk function, the MLRO and the Business to ensure appropriate design and implementation of controls.Ā
- Ensure that the MTF retains its internal control checks and control levelsĀ on an ongoing basis.
- Monitoring of compliance alerts, drafting and follow-up of remediation plans and assurance reporting to the board.
- Ā Liaising with authorities and regulators.
- Regular board reporting.Ā
- Assist the CCO with the draft of the annual compliance report for the Regulator.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of operational experience in a compliance or internal audit function in either a MiFID Investment firm or a Regulator.
- Operational knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation including: MiFID2/R, EMIR.
- Ā Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication (English & French) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
