Collateral Management Trader - Digital Assets

What we are looking for...we are seeking a Collateral Management trader to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our trading and operational efficiency. The candidate will be overseeing collateral processes internally as well as liaising with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the allocation of collateral across various trading activities, including derivatives, repo, and securities lending.

• Monitor collateral positions and ensure sufficient collateral is available to meet margin requirements and settlement obligations.

• Develop and implement strategies to manage collateral efficiently as well as maximize yield generation on assets.

• Collaborate with trading, risk management, and operations teams to ensure seamless collateral management processes.

• Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the impact of market movements on positions.

• Maintain detailed records of transactions, positions, and performance metrics.

Background and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in collateral management, securities lending, or a related role in financial markets.

• Strong understanding of financial instruments and yield curve modeling

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

• Strong risk management skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Python and experience with data analysis tools.
