Your Mission: 

As a Backend Developer at Bitrefill, you will help build our crypto payment solutions, integrate with suppliers, and enhance the backend of our services. You will join our product team, collaborating with Backend and Frontend Developers and designers, to ensure our services are highly available, responsive, and scalable. Effective communication in English with your team is essential.

Senior Backend Developer:

• Europe/Americas timezone preferred
• > 6 years of experience
• Experienced in pretty much all of our stack
• Team/Tech lead experience
• Make technical decisions
• Mentor junior people
• Joining a team that focuses on new features and payment solutions

Mid-level Backend Developer: 

• Europe/Americas timezone preferred
• > 3 years of experience
• Experienced in a good part of our stack
• Joining a team that focuses on customer outreach and growth
• Reveals ownership of code blocks
• Deploys & monitors issues while in production
• Focused on problem-solving, and capable of pushing or highlighting blockers

Junior Backend Developer:

• Americas timezone preferred
• > 3 years of experience
• Experienced in a good part of our stack
• Communication skills for both technical and non-technical discussions 
• Building tools for our support team to improve their workflow 
• Liaison between the product team and the support team

1 - Online test + Video interview

The candidate queue is typically large, so we take our time to review your profiles carefully. Expect your first tech test and video interview to be scheduled in about three weeks. We'll begin with two key components to help us gauge if we're a good match:

- An online assessment and a brief video interview designed to understand your vibe! The entire process should take no more than an hour and a half to complete.

2 - HR Interview

Then we’ll get to know you a bit better in a short interview with our HR Team - 15 minutes only! On this one you don’t need to prepare anything, you just need to be yourself!

3 - Technical interview

Next up is a technical interview with our product team! It consists of a live, 1-hour coding session with our Devs while we chat about all the techy parts of things. 

4 - Case assignment

You are doing great and that leads you to the practical challenge that should take no more than a few days to a week to complete!

Once completed, there will be a closing interview where we're gonna discuss your practical challenge, and all practicalities!

Congrats! You made it to the references contacts and background checks stage! Don't get scared! We know you're not a criminal mastermind, but our Legal team insists that we check anyway. As the saying goes - Don't trust, verify!

If everything checks out from the final stage, it looks like we have a match! At that point, we will extend an offer we hope you'll find irresistible.
